Pre Shipment Inspection

We are happy to organise and arrange Government Audit Reporting to Government bodies prior to export, ensuring that correct methodology in assessing both quantity and quality is adopted and reported by the independent surveyors.

Our state of the art laboratory in Lome, Togo, is strategically located to support offshore Ship-to-Ship operations and local shore-side terminals with an extensive testing capability. In Lagos, Nigeria, our newly equipped lab in Apapa is ideally located to handle product import certification for all terminal imports and offers specialised analyses like Salt Content and Research Octane Number, uncommon in West Africa.

Both labs feature state-of-the-art instrumentation, with Lome leading the region's shift to automated testing for Flash Point and Distillation. Our Lome lab conducts a wide range of analyses, from Density and Flash Point to advanced techniques such as UV Sulphur analysis, Hydrocarbon Type by FIA, and Elemental Quantification by ICP. The lab now includes a custom-built clean room for our new Spectro-Genesis ICP-OES.

Both labs operate 24/7, offering comprehensive testing for Gas Oil, Fuel Oil, Gasoline, Jet Fuel, and Crude Oil. We also specialise in setting up commodity monitoring schemes, coordinating proficiency schemes, handling dangerous goods, and auditing.

Loss Control

Our expert team identifies, advises, and resolves cargo, marine, and technical issues, minimising financial losses from physical damage, cargo quality concerns, or demurrage claims.

With 100% expeditor attendance throughout loading, discharge, or STS operations, we actively assess and mitigate risks of physical or apparent losses.

Our expeditors, fully aligned with our clients' commercial needs, work closely with vessels to implement effective C.O.W procedures, reducing or eliminating ROB. We stay on-site to negotiate and mitigate any adverse cargo values.

We also offer expert witnessing for analytical testing at terminals or third-party laboratories.
